Nothing quite says festival like a bit of bunting!
We’re busy making some bunting using up our scraps of yarn.
If you’d like to help, we have plenty of yarn you can collect from Inspiring Yarns, our yarn shop in Newtownards or you can add your own scraps. This will be our official festival bunting for many years to come so your contribution will see many happy festival experiences.
Åsa has come up with some quick and easy patterns which you can download for free by clicking the links.
Some traditional triangle bunting (both crocheted and knitted versions) or new for 2026 we have the super cute flower chain bunting.
Both patterns are perfect for using up yarn scraps and as for colour, the brighter the better! Bunting donations can be dropped off at Inspiring Yarns in Newtownards.
A note from Inspiring Yarns
We believe that yarn and textiles are so important in the ways in which they connect people and encourage exploration of creativity. We see and hear the impact our courses and social groups have on people’s mental health every day. We want to be able to continue providing a safe and welcoming community space where people can learn more about and share their love for all things yarn and textiles.
Any donations we receive help to support our running costs and contribute to some courses and projects which are not fully funded and are very much appreciated.
