Getting There

By Bus: Let’s see if we can be as environmentally friendly as we can be! We are providing a free shuttle service which will operate on a loop between the Glider terminal in Dundonald (Park and Ride), Killinchy Street, Comber and Castle Espie. The bus is provided by Translink and will be a 43 seater accessible bus. The bus times are:

From Glider Dundonald (Park and Ride), Killinchy Street, Castle Espie: 09:30, 11.30, 14:00, 16:00

From Castle Espie, Killinchy Street, Glider Dundonald (Park and Ride): 10:30, 12:30, 15:00, 17:15

By Car: If you are travelling by car please consider car sharing where possible. Free parking is available on site, including disabled spaces and Electric car charging points. Car parking attendants will direct you on arrival and advice given by them must be adhered to for health and safety and to ensure available space can be maximised. The centre is located 2.5 miles from Comber on the Ballydrain Road, off the A22 Comber/Killyleagh Road. From Belfast follow the A22 towards Comber until you reach the roundabout. Turn right on to the A22 Comber/Killyleagh/Downpatrick road then turn first left at the Ballydrain Road.

By Bicycle: A bicycle rack is situated in the courtyard – please bring your own lock. Strangford Lough is located on Sustrans Regional Route 20 and Route 99. Download a map here.
